Michelle Finkelshteyn is the Founder and Principal Designer of Interiors By Michelle, a boutique design firm based in New Jersey. Michelle’s design career has spanned all facets of the industry from retail and magazine editorial, to event planning and bespoke designs and cabinetry.

Educated at New York University and Parson's School of Design, Michelle has created stylish spaces with thoughtful flow and useful functions throughout NYC, Westchester, New Jersey, and Florida. Her design career began as a design assistant in NYC, collaborating on custom furniture and dramatic window treatments for discerning Upper East Side clientele.  Then, as co-buyer and content creator for a pioneer e-commerce fashion site, she helped steer the brand to media glory featured on VH1, as well as in LUCKY Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and OK! Magazine.  As an event planner, she fused the visions of her clients with her discerning eye to create elegant soirées.

Focusing on Form & Function, Michelle works with her clients through all stages of the design process, ensuring a seamless process from conception to completion.  Her work exudes contemporary sensibilities with classical elements for a timeless aesthetic.
